Why This Port Is Easier Than the Others
Most South Florida cruise passengers sail from Port Everglades or PortMiami, both an hour or more from the northern county. The Port of Palm Beach is different simply by being close to where a lot of our passengers already are. Ten minutes from PBI is the headline. It means a same-day fly-and-sail has almost no exposure to traffic, which is normally the thing that makes that combination risky. From West Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach or Palm Beach Gardens the port is 15 to 25 minutes; from Jupiter and Wellington, half an hour or so. If you are in Palm Beach County and your itinerary sails from here, take it. The hour each way you save against Broward or Miami is a real hour.
